Zenda Merlene Booth Edwards

May 7, 1931 — July 27, 2021

Zenda Merlene Booth Edwards found her way to heaven on July 27, 2021. She was born May 7, 1931, in Provo, Utah to Edwin Winters Booth and Matilda Jessie Ellis. She married her forever love, Lawrence Norman Edwards, on April 16, 1948.
Zenda’s children called her beloved. Her grandchildren called her Gram, Grandma Norm and Grandma Robbie. Her great-grandchildren called her Gram and Grandma Z, and her neighbors called her a friend. To everyone who knew her, she was a Grand Lady.
Zenda’s heart was full of love for God’s children and Charity was her middle name. She loved being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was faithful in serving and building up the kingdom. When it came to service, “no” was never in her vocabulary. She was a true believer in God and His Son Jesus Christ, a believer of good things coming her way, and always believed that what will be will be. Zenda has left behind a legacy of love, example, and enduring to the end. She always made you feel loved and that you were her favorite. She will always be our favorite.
Zenda is now celebrating with so many loved ones. Taking place right now is a grand reunion with her Norm whom she missed so much and her grandchildren, Kimberly, Brandon, and Jaclyn who passed too soon. Her mom, dad, brothers, and sister have welcomed her with open arms. “Life is good,” she always said even until she passed away so peacefully at home in her sleep. A dream that came true for her.
Zenda is survived by her children, Pam (Kendall) Van Wagoner, Peggy (Dennis) McKenzie, Ron (Annette) Edwards, Rob (Susan) Edwards, 11 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 31, at 11:00 a.m. at the Charleston Ward, 3450 S. 3500 W., Charleston, Utah.
