Wendy Louise Ivie, age 41, passed away on December 11, after a four year long battle with Melanoma caner. Wendy was born January 7th, 1975, the New Year’s Baby, to Rodger H. and Anne L. Ivie. Wendy loved to gamble playing the triple 7 machines, shop at thrift stores, always hoarding her finds, spend time with family and friends, and plan the next Wendover trip. Wendy was a lover of chocolate, country music, being a mother and especially being a grandmother to Oakley.

Wendy is survived by her children Cassidy Rae Sabey, Maddison Paige, and Tegahn Elton Leger, granddaughter Oakley Anne Leger Sabey, mother Anne L. Ivie, sisters Stefanie (Brett) Carlson, Cheryl Ivie, brother Rustin Ivie and many aunts, uncles and cousins in the Uintah Basin. She is preceded in death by her father Rodger Ivie and grandparents Raleigh and Dora Ivie and John and Mary Miller.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Probst Funeral Home (79 E. Main St., Midway, Utah). There will be a viewing one hour prior to the life celebration at the same location. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Wendy’s name to Mountain America Credit Union.
