Victor Adan Benitez beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away in a car accident on June 29, 2018.
Victor was born March 7, 2002 in Heber City, Utah where he was raised by his parents Adan and Aura Benitez. He was one of two children of the Benitez family.
He was a great son who was very loving and full of God’s grace; he loved his parents, sister and all his family. Victor was very protective of his loved ones and always seeked their advice to be a better person and make the best decisions. Victor loved spending time with his friends and family; he was sweet, charming and a respectful young man who loved making people laugh. He was an exceptional son who always liked to please his parents. When he was a young boy he would go to his neighbors house to be of help in any way he could, so he could earn a carton of fresh eggs because they were his mother’s favorite. Growing up he had an interest for cooking, which also allowed him to spend quality time with his mother.
Since his childhood he enjoyed going to the skate park to ride his skateboard, bike, and scooter. At the age of 12 he discovered his passion for soccer; it began as an assistant referee, which furthered his passion to become a player for Wasatch High School, Olympia FC, Comba FC, Park City SC, and he recently was accepted into one of his favorite clubs Cobras FC. During the course of playing soccer he won many medals. One of his biggest aspirations was to become a professional soccer player like Cristiano Ronaldo; whom he admired. In his studies he was very self motivated to be an exceptional student; he was very loved by his teachers and school peers because of his caring personality.
Victor’s family and friends will miss his company, sense of humor, charisma and especially his loving gestures; he will be greatly missed but his family finds peace and comfort knowing he is resting in God’s presence. Victor’s memory will live on forever in our hearts.
