Vickie Lynne Broadhead

Vickie Lynne Broadhead, age 67 of Heber City, Utah, passed away Saturday June 1, 2019 surrounded by her family at her home in Tabiona, Utah. Born December 14, 1951, daughter of the late Ernest Doyle Broadhead and Freda (Curtis) Broadhead.

Vickie retired to Tabiona, Utah to be near her siblings and quickly became an amateur goat whisperer, they were her pets and she couldn’t wait to show off the new babies. She loved the peace and quiet of the small town and quickly became part of the community, she could be found joining in Bingo as often as possible.

Vickie loved spending time with her family, especially the little ones; they were the light of her life. She loved being outdoors, camping and fishing. She was also an avid shopper and could be frequently found in the bargain aisle or at the nearest yard sale. She was always on the hunt for a treasure!

Vickie is survived by her children; Stacey & Mike Larsen, Rodney & Cynthia Winch and Jason & Jennifer Winch, nine grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Her brother; Rex Broadhead, sister; Barbara Bown and special sister RaeAnn Smith. Too many nephews, nieces and extended family members to list but she loved you all! Reunited in Heaven with parents Doyle & Freda Broadhead and brother Curtis Broadhead.

Vickie’s door was always open, she gave selflessly and welcomed you as part of her family. Vickie was always thinking of others ahead of herself, the amount of lives she touched was countless. Vickie was loved by all. Her bright beautiful light that shined upon us all will be missed.

Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects on Wednesday June 5, 2019, 6:00-8:00pm at the Heber Valley Funeral Home, 288 North Main Street Heber City.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday June 6, 2019 at 11:00am at the Heber LDS 3rd Ward, 300 East and 400 South in Heber City, with a viewing prior from 9:30am – 10:30am. Internment at Heber City Cemetery.
