Vicki Winterton

Our angelic mother, Vicki Burrup Winterton, age 58, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes in Heber Valley on October 22, 2020. She was born in Richland, Washington on December 5, 1961 to Max S Burrup and Nita Fehrenbacker Burrup, who we’re certain were there to greet her with open arms when she passed from this life to the next. We’ve found great comfort in thinking of them up there, singing and laughing together after all these years apart.

Despite the challenges of her life, Vicki was a light to anyone who knew her, sharing her heart and home with those she loved. She had a bright smile for anyone and everyone and possessed the unique ability of making everyone feel like they were smart and special and loved. Her unwavering optimism and faith continue to fill us even now.

She adored her 9 grandkids and would have done anything for them and, much to our delight, already had their Christmas gifts picked out and purchased, gifts they will cherish for the rest of their lives.

Mom, Grammy, sister, friend, we miss you. So very much. We look forward to the day when we can hug you again and giggle with you and tell you all about the joyous parts of our lives.

Vicki is survived by her 5 daughters Heidi A. (Ben), Hilary O. (Chris), Kami G. (Garrett), Karissa M. (Chad), and Andrea C. (Chase), her 9 grandchildren, and her 8 siblings and their spouses. She is preceded in death by her parents, Max and Nita.

There will be a public viewing Wednesday, October 28th, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A private viewing for family only will be held Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 followed by funeral services at 12:00. The funeral services will be available for viewing through Zoom. We respectfully ask you to wear a mask and observe social distancing as you come to honor Vicki and pay your respects.
