Veon Crook Price
Our dear beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend passed away peacefully at her home on December 23, 2020 at the age of 90.
Veon was born to John Thomas and Arbelia Ann (Annie) Harvey Crook on November 5, 1930 in Heber City, Utah.
On May 3, 1950 Veon was married for time and all eternity to her best friend Russell W. Price in the Salt Lake City Temple. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings. Her favorite calling was helping at Funerals. She also shared her testimony through beautiful music and the way she lived her life. She served her family, friends, neighbors and anyone she could. Service, love and compassion came naturally for Veon. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and often was found having them at her home to spend the day or for sleepovers. Many sweet memories were made during these times. During the summers, she could always be found cooking a meal for the many hay men helping on the farm. She was truly loved by all and will be greatly missed. She left a void that will never be filled.
Veon is survived by her five children: Judy Price, Malene (Bill) Young, Marsha (Brent) Guymon, Lynn (Sandi) Price, Launie (Don) Ford. 11 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren who loved her dearly.
She was the last survivor of her siblings and their spouses.
Preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a grandson, Travis Ford.
Due to Covid, there will be a private family funeral. Those who would like to participate can do so through the Zoom App using code: 4356545458 on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 12:00 PM MST.
The family would like to thank Jason & Jake Provost, Willis Clyde, Applegate Home Health, and many others for all their loving care.
