VeNile Gines passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2022 at home. She was born July 10, 1929 in Heber City, Utah to Fredrick and Orel Carlile Kuhni.
She graduated from Wasatch High School in May 1947 and later that same year married Cloyd G. Gines of Provo, Utah. They lived in Heber for 8 years while he worked at the Park Utah Mines and she worked at the Wasatch County Courthouse. They moved to Kearns in 1955 where he drove truck and she was employed at the local department store. The family moved to West Valley in 1963 where they were active members of their ward and both served in the Jordan River Temple for 30 years. After Cloyd’s passing in 2016 she continued to live in her home until her death.
She is survived by her son Alan C. (Sandy) Gines of Nevada, son Lane C. (Ingrid) Gines of Washington, daughter Susan (Rick) Divers, granddaughter Shannon Divers and great grandson Dominick Warren.
Graveside services will be held in the Heber City Cemetery on Monday, April 4, for
family and close friends.
