Tully Begay, 61, passed away on January 23, 2018 in Provo, UT following a brief illness. Tully was born on April 30, 1956 in Hogback, NM to Charley and Ida Begay.

He completed the 11th grade in high school then went on to earn a technical degree in welding. He went on to become a First-Class Welder working his entire life up until last year when he retired. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Daniel Martinez, Abraham Begay and Phillip Begay, all of Hogback, NM.

He is survived by one daughter, Aimee Brunson, granddaughter, Kailee Hope Brunson, son-in-law, Christopher Brunson, all of Perry, FL; mother of his daughter, Bonnie Grinstead of Branford, FL; special friend, Nancy Chief, of Springville, UT; 4 sisters, Betty Bitsuie of Hogback, NM; Roberta Begay of Hogback, NM; and Patty Yazzie of Waterflow, NM; one brother, Wallace Begay of Fruitland, NM. A host of nieces and nephews also survive.

A viewing will be held at Heber Valley Funeral Home (288 N. Main St., Heber City, UT) from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018 followed by a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. All arrangements are under the direction of Heber Valley Funeral Home.
