Trenton Jeremy Wright was born on May 5th, 1997 in South Jordan, Utah to Todd and VaLee Wright.
As the youngest son of eight children: four older brothers, one older and two younger sisters, it would have been easy to fade into the background. But then again Trenton never did what was easy. He was a sweet little boy. When his Tiara was born he was given his own baby doll so that he and his mom could take care of their babies together. As a young boy Trenton was always out DOING. Dubbed “The Three Musketeers,” Trenton, Ethan and Kelton would play cards and board games, make movies, write (and perform)plays (to a captive audience)and write stories. The question “What is that boy doing now?” was likely the most uttered statement regarding Trenton. He was highly intelligent and a wonderful student. As an adult conversations with Trenton could range from fixing cars to classic rock to string theory and gravitics. When, at eight years old, his family moved from Draper to Timberlakes in Heber City, Utah Trenton now had virgin territory. From then on he lived in the mountains and had miles and miles to explore. His unrestrained exuberance made him a family favorite.
Trenton and his family worked together with their dad to build a beautiful home. In that construction was built the love of family and working with their hands that defines a real Wright. Trenton often said that he was never happier than when he was working with his dad. He learned so much from Todd, but work ethic and kindness, along with a huge infections smile, were inherited from him. Trenton was the favorite uncle. Where he went he was followed by a pack of nieces and nephews as they laughed and played their way through family functions. After graduating from Wasatch High School, Trenton was called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the California, San Jose Mission.
In the 6th grade, Trenton met the love of his life, Breah Aroha Harding. As all good relationships should, it started as friendship and grew into much more as they both worked their way through awkward adolescence and into adulthood. As life is not always a straight road, there would be branches, detours and a few dead ends before the two of them decided to travel this life together. They were sealed together for time and all eternity in the Provo Temple in Provo Utah on July 1st, 2017. Their deep love is a testimony of patience and long-suffering and their unrestrained laughter could often be heard for miles. After a brief stint in Provo, Trenton and Breah returned to live in the beautiful Heber Valley. Trenton took up the family business and worked in the trade he learned so well from his dad as a journeyman plumber. He could be found, day or night, working on his deuce-and-a-half, tinkering with his motorcycle, improving his “tiny home” or other various projects. He said that as he worked he could feel his dad near him. When he wasn’t working on his own projects he was helping other people. Whether it was family, friends or people he barely knew, he spent his life in service. Much of who he was could be found in King Benjamin’s admonition that “When you are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God”. Trenton never turned anyone away who needed help. He loved the outdoors and shooting with his family and friends. He loved his family and his country and lived in the service of both. Trenton passed away in Pleasant Grove Utah on November 23rd, 2019. His too short life was much like the shooting stars, too brief but so very bright and inspiring.
Trenton was greeted beyond the veil by his best friend and father, Todd Lee Wright, and many loving family members. Trenton is survived by his wife Breah Aroha Wright, mother VaLee Wright, siblings Todd Jared “TJ” (Lodema), Tad Jeffery (Destiny), Teddy (Scott Perkes), Tanner Janson (Jennifer), Travis Jameson (Brittney), Tiara, and Taffy, well over 100 cousins, 30 aunts and uncles, and one grandmother.
