Trent Clark, 82, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019. He was born in Altonah, Utah, the son of George Albert Clark and Mable Chatwin Clark. He lived in Altonah, Utah until the age of 18 when he joined the US Army and proudly served his country.
Trent married Lois Young on December 18, 1959, they were sealed in the Manti, Utah LDS Temple on November 7, 1964. They have five children, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren together.
Trent loved driving dump trucks. He drove for many asphalt companies until he settled down and retired from Savage Asphalt. He was a friend to everyone he met while on the job or in the grocery store. He also enjoyed bowling, for many years he was on a bowling league where he gained many friendships. He was always good to everyone around him and always quick with a joke. He had the ability to talk to anyone and brighten their day; he was loved by many.
Trent is survived by his wife Lois Young, Woods Cross, Utah; son Trent Ray (Fae) Clark, Clearfield, Utah; son Rodney (Angela) Clark, Bountiful, Utah; son Ricky (Tiffany) Clark, Layton, Utah; and daughter Julie Carlile, Clearfield, Utah; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Bryan D Clark.
A viewing will be held from 6 - 8 pm on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the LDS Church, located at 800 west 1500 South, Woods Cross, Utah. Services will be held Wednesday June 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the same location with a short viewing from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
