Thomas Henry Rowley

May 27, 1937 — July 23, 2022

Thomas Henry Rowley, age 85, danced his way to Heaven on July 23, 2022, in Heber City, Utah
surrounded by his family including his dog Toby and kitty Milo. Tom was born on May 27,
1937, in Hamilton, Ontario Canada to Thomas Edgar Rowley and Myrtle Nellie Herman Rowley.
His family moved from Canada then to Buffalo New York and a few years later to Riverside
California. He became a ballroom Dance instructor where he met the love of his life after she
won a dance contest. They were married on September 23, 1960. They were later sealed for
Time and all Eternity in June 1964, in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. One month after they were
married, he was drafted into the US Army where he served in Germany for two years. After
joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Tom and Beckie became Regional Dance
Instructors throughout California and performed in the Dance Festivals. Dancing was their life.
Tom and Beckie raised four daughters. He would always tell you that he used to be six feet tall
and look like Tom Sellek. His Job took him from one coast to the other and back. Anyone who
met him, truly fell in love with him. He radiated love and happiness to all he met. He had so
many friends. People gravitated to him. After he retired from Alcoa Aluminum in 2002, he was a
crossing Guard for Heber Valley Elementary School for 9 years. The children, teachers, and bus
drivers all fell in love him and looked forward to school each day. He was a joy to be around.
Never said a bad word to anyone. He loved the beach, fishing, and Disneyland. If you know
Tom, you will know all his jokes. He would get you every time. He will be truly missed by all.

He is survived by his beautiful wife Rebecca Ietta Smith Rowley and his children; Sheila O'Neal,
Theresa (Mark) Baronek, Kristie Erickson, Cheryl (Billie) Rowley, His sister June Rucks. His
Grandchildren; Dominique (Trent) Hough, Stephanie (Buzz) Harmon, Derek L'Heureux, Lindsey
(Casey) Powers, Colton O'Neal, Sarah O'Neal, Jessica Wheelock, Casey O'Neal, Eric Wheelock,
Espri (JT) Bartschi, Trey Erickson. His Great Grandchildren; Khloee, Isabelle, Zoe, Athena, Alayna,
Maximus and another baby girl (coming soon).
