Obituary for Tanner James Lawrence

Tanner James Lawrence, born September 17, 1996, passed away on September 8, 2025. He will be remembered for his kind heart, joyful spirit, and the way he made life brighter for everyone who knew him.

Tanner loved the outdoors and spent much of his time camping, hunting, and fishing. Music was always special passion—he enjoyed playing his guitar—and he found great joy in friendly competition at pool tournaments. He also shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Nova, who was always by his side.

Tanner had a gift for laughter and was known as a jokester who loved life. Most of all, he loved his family deeply and treasured every moment spent with them.

He is survived by his mother, Kelly Newell, and stepfather, Brent Giles; his father, Dale Robert Lawrence; his siblings, Chelsea Bonney, Dale Lawrence, and Macee V. Giles; his niece Madelyn Bonney; his grandparents, Bill and Vicky Draughn, and Dorothy Giles; He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.  All of his family  will miss him dearly.

Tanner was preceded in death by his grandparents, Judy and Elmer Lawrence, and Brent Giles.

A celebration of Tanner’s life will be determined at a later date.

Tanner’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate to share in his life.
