Steven Edward Miltenberger was born on March 18, 1954, in Salt Lake City, Utah, and passed away on April 2, 2024, in Park City, Utah.
Steve’s unwavering devotion to his wife and family manifested in every aspect of his life. He worked tirelessly to provide for his loved ones, embodying an incredibly steadfast work ethic and remarkable resilience. Steve always prioritized his family above all else, offering unwavering support and love through all times.
He deliberately pursued perfection in all things, often to the frustration of those around him who had mistakenly thought they were finished. However, when the final product met his standards, it was better than anyone thought possible, and it made those around him better too. Steve had the humble ability to just lift people up and inspire them to improve.
Above all, Steve cherished time with his beloved wife. Together, they created memories that will last beyond a lifetime. Steve's love and devotion to Renae, and hers to him, created a bond that acted as a beacon of love and stability for all those lucky enough to have witnessed it.
Steve is survived by his wife of 49 years, Renae; his children, Stacie and Rudy, Chad and Elsa, and Brett and Grace; his grandchildren, Isaac, Lucas, Bode, Silas, and Bryce; his mother, Janae; his siblings, Scott and Lisa; and by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward. He touched the lives of so many others, who will forever remember his integrity, kindness, and love.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that others spend some time outside appreciating nature.
