Stephanie Audra Scott Jeffs passed away November 30th 2015 at her home in Phoenix Arizona. Stephanie had been fighting cancer for nearly 3 years.
She was born in Richland Washington on July 10th 1972 to Jean and David Scott. She was the youngest of 5 daughters. When she was 12 she moved to Orem, Utah where she graduated from high school. She went on to attend Utah State University. At USU she met and married Lewis Jeffs. Lewis and Stephanie have 3 children. Her family was the most important thing to her. They moved several times after they married finally settling in Southern Idaho. In 2015 she moved to Arizona with her family, but she called Idaho home.
Stephanie was full of talents. She was a wonderful artist, painting with water color and acrylics. She loved painting people and horses. Steph was an amazing horse trainer and loved riding. She was also a very talented musician. There wasn't an instrument that she couldn't play. She loved Celtic and Irish music and soon mastered all the instruments associated with it. Along with the Irish music came the love of Irish dance. She started competing in Irish dance as an adult and that led her to start a dance group in Idaho. Magic Valley Irish Dancers were one of the amazing things she started in life. She loved all of the dancers that she instructed over the years. Her passion for dance led to her annual dance productions of Celtic Halloween and Celtic Christmas. She was active in her church and her community.
She is survived by her husband Lewis, children; Garrett, Alyssa and Nolan. sisters, Cindy Stapleton, Lori (Nick) Lavender, Jen Maree and Shelly Ellis; stepmother Kathie Scott Clement.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 5, at the LDS Church 715 East 600 South, Heber City, Utah 84032. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m., services 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Heber City Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Probst Mortuary
