Stan J. Davis, aged 78, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 14th, 1945, Stan was the middle son among five siblings, born to caring parents, Elden Robert Davis and Nola Sabey Davis, in his beloved hometown of Heber City, Utah. On July 25th, 1970, Stan joined his life with Vickie Anita Richardson in a joyous ceremony held in Heber City, later solemnized in the Provo Utah temple. Together, they were blessed with five wonderful children: Quinn Davis, Kevin Davis, Curt Davis, Corey Davis, and Brittany Davis Birch.

Stan's life was a reflection of his profound love for the Heber Valley. He found solace in the simplicity of hunting and the beauty of rides through the ever-changing landscapes of his cherished hometown. His unwavering support for his sons and daughter in all their endeavors, be it sports or any other activity, was a testament to his unwavering dedication as a father.

Stan's faith was an integral part of his life. He served diligently in a bishopric as a second counselor and later as the bishop of the Heber Third Ward, offering guidance, support, and leadership to his congregation. Beyond his faith community, he made significant contributions to the local construction industry, leaving behind a legacy of homes and structures across Wasatch and Summit Counties.

A dedicated Utah Jazz basketball fan, Stan rarely missed a game whether on the radio or on the tv, and his passion for the team was contagious. He cherished moments spent in conversation with his brothers, sharing stories and laughter, and deepening their bonds.

Throughout his life, Stan sought opportunities to serve others, exemplifying the spirit of community and compassion. In his well-earned retirement, he found fulfillment in managing his apartments, where he spent precious time with his grandchildren, offering them valuable work experiences and lifelong memories.

Stan was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Elden Robert Davis and Nola Sabey, his brother Ron Davis, George Junior Richardson (Father In-law), Anita Richardson (Mother In-law), his grandson Clayton J. Davis, and many cherished relatives and friends. He is survived by his devoted wife, Vickie, and their children: Quinn (Amy) Davis, Kevin (Christine) Davis, Curt (Kristi) Davis, Corey Davis, Brittany (Nick) Birch, along with 14 adoring grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter and one on the way, Brothers, Bob Davis, Clark Davis, and Leo Davis.

Stan J. Davis will forever be remembered for his warm heart, unwavering commitment, and deep love for his family. His legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A viewing will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Heber 4th Ward, 240 East 400 South, Heber City, Utah 84032 from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at the same location. Interment will be in the Heber City Cemetery.
