Solomon had an excitement and energy about life that was contagious. He had a big heart and an enduring love for his family and friends. To him life was an adventure to be explored. He loved to mix work and travel. He spent time doing both in Portland, OR; Las Vegas, NV; Tucson, AZ; Salt Lake City, UT; Alaska, Florida and ending in Logan, UT. He has worked as a Hotel Manager, Call Center Supervisor, on a fishing charter service, fish processing plant and finally as a manager at a shelter for battered woman, Capsa (Citizens Against Physical and Sexual Abuse). He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chile from 2001-2003. He loved the study of religion and the spirit. He had many question about life and sought the truth in religion and science. After meeting the love of his life, Hadis, he was married in 2013 in Logan. He was looking forward to the great adventure of married life and to have a companion to share his time on earth.
He is proceeded in death by his mother Shari Owen, stepmother Bernice Owen and stepbrother William Burnes. He is survived by his brother Michael Duley, sister Michelle O’Neil, brother Gabe Duley, sister Miranda Owen, stepsister Christine Burnes, Juli Burnes and Jennifer Burnes, stepbrother Ron Burnes and James Burnes, stepsister Sarah Heiner and Ruth Merrill, stepbrother John Burnes, stepsister Lori Burnes, stepbrother Michael Burnes, stepfather John Owen, stepmother Linda Burnes, father Pat Duley and stepmother Karen Duley.
We know that he has gone as a pioneer into that great adventure of life after death to clear a path for those that come after him.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, August 27, 2016 in the Lake Creek 2nd Ward LDS Chapel (6250 E. 1200 S., Heber, Utah). There will be a viewing at 1:00pm on Friday, August 26th at Probst Family Funeral Home (79 E. Main St., Midway, UT).
