Sharleene Kay Comer Simmons

Sharleene Kay Comer Simmons was born on December 13, 1955 to Thelma and Frank Lee Comer. Kay passed away on April 1, 2023, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Kay was the second child out of four girls. She attended and graduated from North Summit in 1974. On October 12, 1974 she married her true love Michael A. Simmons. Together they had three sons Kelly, Jack and Frank. They made their home in Francis, Utah.

Kay enjoyed painting, drawing, crosswords and putting together puzzles in her free time. She frequently traveled to Wendover to play slot machines. Kay loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is survived by her sons Kelly (Heidi) Simmons, Jack Simmons and Frank Simmons. Her two grandchildren Katie (Dustin) Keetch and Colby (Courtney) Simmons. Her sister Debbie (Rick) Walsh.

She is preceded in death by her husband Michael Simmons, both parents Thelma and Frank Lee Comer, sisters Cindy Comer and Joyce Comer DeLucus.

The family would like to give special thanks to Intermountain Hospice Healthcare, Nurse Audrey and Aide Macee for their care in her last days.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Francis Meetinghouse, 387 W. Last Frontier Lane, Francis, Utah 84036 with a Graveside Service at 12:30 PM at the Francis Cemetery, UT-35, Francis, Utah 84036.
