Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away on October 27, 2020, surrounded by his family. Born on January 12, 1931, to Harry Emanuel and Laura Gilroy Malm in Murray, Utah. He married the love of his life, Doris Roos on December 30, 1959.
He graduated South High School and joined the Army in 1951, proudly serving as an PFC Signal Corp during the Korean War. He had a lifelong career as a Glazier and was a “jack of all trades” and a master of all that he put his mind to. He often reflected on his racing days and treasured his time while working on cars with his sons. He helped build the family home in West Valley City and poured his love and talent into building his retirement home in the mountains. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren there.
Dale is survived by his wife Doris; his 5 children, Brent (Shelley), Brad (Stephanie), Susan (Jamie), Doug (Kristin), and Kurt (Stephanie); 18 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, his sister Donna, and brothers Richard and Donald.
Family and friends will hold a private graveside service.
