Russell G. Bishop

Russ Bishop passed on October 8 of 2026.

He will be so very missed by his wife, children and grandsons; as well as the Bishop and Gardner clans. He always valued his family and friends above all else.

He studied History and Sociology at the University of Utah then shortly after, went into the restaurant industry where he became chef and owner of BlueKatz in Sugar House, Utah. After the restaurant he did construction, and for the last 10 years he worked for Park City Transit. Through all of his adventures he made so many lifelong friends.

Russ loved being outdoors. Ice fishing, hunting, skiing, camping, and golfing. He loved his snowmobiles, his CanAm and had so many stories about his crazy escapades.

Russ and I made our home and family here in Heber for the last 25 years. While our hearts our broken, we have so many stories to cherish and we will always remember his loving heart and laughter.

There will be a gathering to celebrate and remember Russ at a later date.
