After Margene’s passing, he married Carol Wright on March 22, 1974, which brought Jeff (Lisa) and Susie Fassold (Dave) into the Wade family. Together they had Ed, Ryon (Lisa) and David (Kristin) to the big happy family.

He is survived by his wife and children with 55 grandchildren and 78 great-grandchildren, with 4 more coming soon, Nancy Wade, Brother Randy (Tammy), sister Pam Blonquist (Ben), brother-in-law Vance Farrer sister-in law Kathryn Judd (Gary) brothers-in law Dave Rasband (Connie), Ron Trimball, Stan Rasband, sisters-in-law Peggy Huntington (Dave) Joyce Wright Becker, Jane Broadhead (Les), Kaye Wright, Lynnette Christensen (Kelly), Barb Valencia, brothers-in-law Thom Wright (Mandy), David Wright (Ganien), Chip Wright. Rodney spent many years influencing the youth of the Valley through coaching youth baseball, basketball, wrestling, and rodeo. Those he coached were not only considered team members but his children. He operated his own business, Park City Truck Lines, for many years. He loved chariot racing, rodeo, riding club, and the many friends he made at these events.

His greatest love was his family and faith in the Savior which he had endeavored to pass on to his family. He lived by the motto Don’t just do your best, do what it takes to accomplish the task. He will be missed by those he has left behind, but we know he is happy where he is.
