Robert Arthur Piscitelli

May 29, 1942 — November 5, 2021

Robert Arthur Piscitelli passed away on November 5, 2021, at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City due to respiratory complications from COVID-19 pneumonia. He was surrounded by his family at the time of his death.
Bob was born on May 29, 1942 in Springfield MA to Frank and Mary Natale Piscitelli. He married Claire Banning in Stamford CT, later divorced.
Bob began a career with Bristol Meyers as a shipping clerk making $1.50 an hour. He rose through ranks and eventually becoming a regional transportation manager. His career took him from Stamford CT to Chicago IL and finally to Southern California. He also traveled the world setting up warehouses in Thailand and the Philippines.
In his later years, Bob enjoyed volunteering through his church ministries and the Knights of Columbus. He loved all kinds of music and always had music playing loudly whether he was home or in his car.
Bob loved being outdoors enjoying the beauties that our Heavenly Father has blessed this earth with. One of his proudest accomplishments was hiking Mount Timpanogos with his grandchildren not once but twice. He was always up for adventures with his grandchildren, shooting, fishing, floating the canal, snow tubing, attending baseball games just to name a few. He was an avid New York Yankee fan, and for some reason also rooted for the Boston Red Sox’s because he was born in Massachusetts. He admired Vince Lombardi and rooted for the Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his son Robert T. Piscitelli (Mary) of Wallsburg, UT. Three daughters, Marie Piscitelli of Anchorage, AK, Dawn Piscitelli Connelly (Chad) of Park Ridge, IL, Pamela Piscitelli Ludwig (Jon) of Long Beach, CA. Nine grandchildren Meghan, Robert, Tony, Nick, Zachary, Payton, Garret, Avy, and Gram. Three great grandchildren Marcus, Lawson and Tate and sister, Carol Piscitelli of Stamford CT.
Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary Piscitelli.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the LDS hospital for the excellent care that was given to our father and grandfather.
