Robert Mcknight

Robert McKnight passed away January 28, 2025, at home in Heber City, Utah with his family present. Born on Sunday, July 18, 1943, in Heber City, Utah to Paul McKnight and Deon Smith McKnight.

Robert married Rhoda Lee Wilson on September 6, 1963. They went on to have three children, four grandkids, and 3 great-grandkids.

Robert worked in the mines in Park City. He left mine work and started with the Heber City Public Works where he worked for 32 years. He was a very loving and supportive husband and father. Anyone who knew Robert had a friend for life.

Surviving Robert is his wife Rhoda, children: Wendy McKnight, Tami (David) Wolnik, and Paul McKnight; grandkids: Josh (Bailey) McKnight, Krista (Alex) Belt, Jason McKnight, and Travis McKnight; great-grandkids: Stetson Robert McKnight, Dallas Ryan McKnight and Killian Krizman; and sister, Linda (Larry Snarr) McKnight. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Boyd (Sharon) McKnight and Annette (Lamar) Kelly; and daughter-in-law, Deborah McKnight.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the Heber Valley Funeral Home, 288 N Main Street, Heber City, Utah. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM. Interment will be in Heber City Cemetery.
