Robert Lynn Bonner Sr. passed away on May 25, 2017. He was born on September 3, 1954 to Charles Lynn Bonner and Golda Fae (Watson) Bonner.
Bob was born and raised in Heber Valley, Utah. After graduating from Wasatch High School, he pursued and graduated with an Associative Degree as an Automotive Technician. In 1981, JoLynn Mulliner blessed him with his first and only child Robert Lynn Bonner Jr. On May 25th 2011, Bob’s world changed for the better. His family was getting bigger when he was introduced to his new Grandson (Bodyn). On August 17, 2014, those rough scarred hands instantly changed to silk every time he held his new Granddaughter (Raeleigh) who had grandpa Bob tied around her finger from day one. In 2016, Bob called it quits to the working life and retired, wanting to get out and see new things while he still could. He was a man of many hobbies including: His family (dogs included), friends, Camping, OLD FORD TRUCKS, and Guns. He loved to spend his winter months relaxing with his family and dogs in Arizona, and the summer months in, his sanctuary, the mountains above Heber Valley.
Bob is survived, by his sisters LaNae and Joyce, son Rob, daughter Jana, grandson Bodyn Robert Bonner, granddaughter Raeleigh J. Bonner, and his beloved dogs Raffie and Tickle Bear.
A viewing will be held from 6-8pm on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Probst Family Funeral Home (79 E. Main St., Midway, UT). Bob’s wishes are to be cremated and have his ashes scattered at some of his favorite places.
