Robert Harold Alexander passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at his home in Midway, Utah.
Robert was born on December 22, 1945 in Washington D.C. to Harold Henry Alexander and Ruth Harrell.
He met the love of his life Jeanne at BYU and they were married on August 16, 1971 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Robert had many hobbies and interests, but he was most happy when he was enjoying art, nature, hunting, fishing, river running, playing with puzzles, playing the piano, golf, traveling the world, watching his John Wayne movies, and working on his model trains.
One of his many accomplishments in life was serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to the Guatemala El Salvador mission. He was a temple worker in the Provo Utah Temple and a contractor for the Book of Mormon Pavilion at the World’s Fair. He received several awards as a National Sales Manager at O.C. Tanner. He went on to retire from being a teacher with the Wasatch School District. He loved teaching and made a difference in a lot of his students lives.
Robert is survived by his wife Jeanne Alexander, his sons Rob Alexander (Amy), Kris Alexander (Sue), Sean Alexander (Jen), and Ryan Alexander (Courtney), daughter Brittany Mormann (Ryan), sister Janet McConkie, niece Anita Ralph (Dale), his eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Ruth Alexander.
A funeral service will be held in his honor on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 11:00am, located at 1102 S Center St, Midway, Utah 84049.
The interment will follow at the Midway City Cemetery located at 600 W 500 S, Midway, Utah 84049.
