Renee Lee Horrocks

August 28, 1947 — January 15, 2025

Renee Lee Horrocks, loving wife, mother and grandma passed away on January 15, 2025 surrounded by family in Heber City, Utah. Renee was born on August 28, 1947 to James Corbeil and Delia Hansen of Lone Pine, California.

Renee was married to Thomas H. Horrocks of Midway, Utah for 19 years.

She was a beautiful mother to 3 children, Renee Goudie (husband Scott), Laurie Turley (husband Paul) and her son James (Jimmy). She has 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and one on the way. According to granddaughter Kitana, Renee was the best grandma in the whole world. She is preceded in death by James and Delia Hansen, (parents) Brother James, sister Patsy and her son James (Jimmy).

Renee was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many callings, but her two favorites were in Young Women’s and with the Primary Children. She was very talented and could sing, play piano and do all kinds of crafts. She had an ability to love without judgement and care for her family and friends.

Renee was very proud of her hard work and accomplishment of earning a degree in Massage Therapy. Her great love was running a successful daycare out of her home for many years. She lovingly became known as grandma Nae Nae. She also was a nanny for two amazing families. She loved children and you could see how much she loved them.

She could even be spotted driving around town in an ice cream truck with her granddaughter Kitana Corbett, giving out ice cream to all the kids.

Renee was the life of the party. She had a quick sense of humor and she brightened up every room that she walked in to. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

A viewing will be held on January 22, 2025 at the Swiss Alpine Ward, 1102 S Center St., Midway, Utah from 10:00-11:00 AM with the funeral following at 11:30 AM. Interment will take place at the Heber City Cemetery.
