Becky was born the 4th of October 1945, in Peoria, IL, the beloved daughter of Russell and Dorothy Marks and grew up surrounded by her brothers James and Robert Marks. Becky's early years were spent on a farm in Knoxville, IL. The family moved off the farm when she was a teenager, she grew to love not being treed by the hogs. Following high school she attended the Graham Hospital of Nursing in Canton, Illinois followed by nurse anesthetist school.

She began her career in Honolulu Hawaii where she met her sweetheart of the last 55 years, Charles Ronald Parker. They were married and sealed in the Manti Utah Temple on the 6th of January 1970. Beginning a life full of family and a career she loved.

Their adventures took them to Champagne, Illinois, for work and the start of their family. Then shortly on to Provo, Utah where Ron started at BYU. In 1979 they moved to Heber City, Utah, their home of the last 46 years. Becky started as a Nurse Anesthetist for Wasatch County Hospital, moonlighting for the Cataract Center of Utah. Capping a 27 year career in Anesthesia Services.

Becky had a passion for knitting keeping her hands busy. Sending socks and dish rags to kids and grandkids every year. Crocheting, reading, making quilts and afghans. Her therapy for cancer was making patchwork quilts.

The family expresses their gratitude to Becky's caregivers and friends, for Charlie giving his time and talents so many times, and for the home health and hospice nurses from Applegate.
