R Allen Tempel

R. Allen Tempel of Heber City, Utah was born on the family farm, Higginsville, Missouri, May 12, 1938 and passed away after a brief illness April 18, 2020. Allen managed the family farm until moving to Utah in 1991. Sixteen years were spent surveying major highway reconstruction projects throughout Utah. Up until his illness, he worked in sales at South Fork Hardware, Park City, Utah. Allen is survived by wife Kathy, daughters, Elise (Cliff) Halling, Sandy, Utah, Dr. Amy Tempel, Hawthorne, California, Emily Tempel, Logan, Utah, along with nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, siblings Ann Koch, Nixa, Missouri and Clyde Tempel, Rogers, Arkansas. Allen would want all he associated with to know how much each one individually enriched his time here on earth. Interment and graveside service on a later date in Higginsville, Missouri. Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, Michigan or Primary Children’s Hospital, Utah.
