Paula Simmons Broadhead

Our precious sister, mother, aunt and cousin passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday morning Jan. 6th. Paula was born in Heber City, Utah to the loving family of Darrell & Martha Merline Berg Simmons on June 4, 1957. She was a blessing to her older brother Brad and sister Luann completing a perfect home. Most of her life was spent in the beautiful Heber Valley. Attending all her school years and graduating with the class of 1976.

Paula married her sweetheart Milan Alden Broadhead September 29, 1978. They were sealed in the Provo Temple on September 29, 1983. Together they had the love of their lives a son, Darrell Alden Broadhead.

Paula is survived by her son; Darrell, brother; Brad (Karrie) and sister; Luann, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother-in-law Bob Davis.

Paula had a strong testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - Day Saints. She loved her Heavenly Father and followed his example in loving everyone she met. Paula enjoyed spending time with her son and was proud of all his accomplishments. She liked shopping and going on long rides.

An angel left us today. Paula closed her eyes in peaceful slumber, and awakened with loved ones. Oh what a joyful reunion that is taking place in heaven.

A viewing will be held Friday, Jan. 12 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30a.m. at the Heber 3rd and 4th ward building on 400 South 240 East. A funeral will follow at 12:00 noon. Burial will be in the Heber City, Cemetery.
