A giant among men!
Paul Dean Carlson left us and this earth on March 25, 2020 with his son and wife by his side.
Dean was born in Charleston UT, on March 14, 1942 to Paul and Maurine Carlson.
Dean married Sharon Dawson on June 4, 1965 in Wallsburg Ut, they would have celebrated 55 years in just 3 months. Sharon was truly the love of his life and he was devoted to her. Together they had 3 sons,
Darren Arthur Carlson (Stephanie)
Kirk Roger Carlson (died shortly after birth)
Brandon Paul Carlson (Donna)
Dean was a man that everyone could count on, helping many widows in the valley doing odds and ends and never expecting payment.
Dean worked for many years for WW Clyde as an operator and welder. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and his animals. Darren and Dean were lucky to be able to go on a fishing trip together 2 weeks ago, in spite of Deans pain he went and loved every minute of it! Dean was one of a kind man and a legend in his time!
Dean is survived by his beloved wife Sharon, and his sons Darren (Stephanie) and Brandon ( Donna) 5 grandchildren, Preston Carlson, Cassi and Klay Christen, Sammie and Chant Caldwell, James Carlson, Daysha Carlson. 7 great grandchildren. 5 brothers Wayne and Cheri Carlson, Dale and Rhea Carlson, Glen and Pat Carlson, Joe and Debbie Carlson, 3 sisters, Laree and Eric Jacobsen, Jane Ogden, Janet Ayer. Dean is proceeded in death by his parents Paul and Maurine Carlson, Older brother Clyde Carlson and son Kirk Carlson
Due to current events, a graveside service will be held with family and close friends Friday March 27,2020 at 10:30 AM at the Wallsburg Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
