Orson Ray Lloyd (The Midway Case)
Born November 25, 1932 Son to Earl and Aritha Murdock Lloyd. He passed away April 20, 2015 at his home in Midway Utah. Ray spent most of his childhood growing up in the Strawberry Valley. After graduating from Wasatch High he married and was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple to his High school sweetheart Sharlene Shear August 22, 1952. He had his own construction company, he was known as “The Midway Case” with his backhoe he cleaned all the ditches in Midway, buried many farm animals and pets. Every winter he was always out clearing all the neighbor’s driveways. In his younger years, Ray loved raising horses and always made sure he had the best looking horses in the valley. He was a championship roper, run chariots and enjoyed being a part of the riding club. He was an avid fisher and hunter loving everything about the outdoors. He was a pilot and loved flying his plane. Later in life loved to fish with his buddies and spending time with his grandchildren.
Ray is survived by his children Steven Ray Lloyd, Midway, Utah, daughter Suzanne Russell, Midway, Utah and Jeffery De Lloyd, Heber, Utah. Sister LaNae Lloyd Fitzgerald, Kamas, Utah, brother John Wayne (Joyce) Heber, Utah, sister-in-law Glenna Lloyd, Heber, Utah, and brother-in-law Gary (Ruth) Schear, Circleville, Utah. His 7 grandkids and 15 great grandkids. Proceeded in death by his parents, his wife, 2 infant sons, brothers Kenneth Lloyd, Joseph Lloyd, and sisters Mary Lloyd Culliard, Nadine Lloyd Aiken, Earline Lloyd Clyde, Deon Lloyd Ballard.
Friends and family are invited to attend the viewing Friday, April 24, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Probst Family Mortuary (79 E. Main St., Midway, UT). The funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 11 AM with a viewing from 10-11 AM both at the Fox Den Ward (250 E. 200 S., Midway, UT). Interment at the Midway Cemetery.
