Nickolai Panasenko, age 85, died on February 16, 2023. He was born on August 27, 1937, in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, to Wasyl and Paraska Panasenko. Her married the love of his life, Peggy Cox, on June 9, 1962.
He was a master plumber in Heber City, Utah at the time of his death. Most people, wherever he was, knew him as Nick the Plumber. He was well known as a happy, friendly and confident man. He was love by everyone who met him.
Although a plumber by trade his greatest joy came from sharing with others the good news about God’s Kingdom. He had a sharp mind and could quote the scriptures from memory.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife Peggy, two sons Stefan (Rhonda Pace) Panasenko and Todd (Heather Anderson) Panasenko, as well as two daughters Gina Panasenko Dunn, and Lisa Panasenko (Chadwick) Blake. Seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild along with many nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held on March 18, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2930 US Hwy 40, Heber City, Utah 84032.
