Michael Rivera-Vazquez, 20, of Heber City, Utah, died June 10, 2021, unexpectedly. He was born on December 18th, 2000, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Miguel Rivera and Martha Vazquez. He graduated from Wasatch High School class of 2019.
Michael started his own business at the age of 18, and had started a new career in construction. He was always so willing to learn new things to help improve his professional career. In his spare time, he loved spending time with his family, girlfriend, and his friends. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, snowboarding, gaming, and cars. Michael was an incredible uncle to his only niece, Alizaeh, who he loved like a little sister.
He is Survived by his loving parents, Miguel Rivera and Martha Vazquez; his sister’s Stephanie (Sergio) Guzman-Rivera, Cristy Rivera, Zulema Leon, Samia Leon; and niece, Alizaeh Sophia Guzman. He also leaves his paternal grandmother, Raquel Fuentes Hernandez; and his maternal grandparents, Esteban Vazquez and Margarita Candelario. He is also survived by his girlfriend(Jessica), friends, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Miguel Rivera-Hernandez.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 18th, 2021 between 5pm-9pm at 146 W 400 N, Heber City, Utah.
Interment will be at the Heber City Cemetery, 68 N 550 E, Heber City, Utah at 10am on June 19, 2021.
