Maurice (Mike) Cloutier, 75, retired Delta pilot, died Friday, December 16th at his home in Park City. Born on August 27, 1941, in Lewiston, Maine, the son of Lucien and Gilberte (Dionne) Cloutier. He married his wife of 56 years, Nancy LaBonte on September 24, 1960. He served in the Air Force from 1959 through 1963.
Mike had an extensive flying career starting with Northeast Airlines in 1968. Then he was hired by Delta Airlines and retired as captain of a Boeing 727 in 2001. He also was a member of the Portland Maine QB Hangar.
Mike was an outdoor enthusiast. He enjoyed skiing in Park City, hiking in the Rocky Mountains and snowshoeing and cross country skiing with the Wasatch Mountain Club.
Besides his wife, Mike is survived by three sons, Roger and wife Jody from Buxton, Maine, Mark and his wife, Diane from Windham, Maine and Steve from Henefer, Utah; two granddaughters, Cassie and Katie.
