Mary Verdawn Nelson

VerDawn passed away on June 26, 2019 of cancer.

Born in Charleston, Utah on April 17, 1936 to Matt and Verda Leahy.
Married the love of her life Bonner R Nelson (deceased 1982) on June 16, 1954. Their marriage was later solemized in the Provo Temple.

She cherished her family. She enjoyed her church and was proud to serve in the temple for more than 30 years. She worked with the special needs children and with the justice clerk for many years. She enjoyed being in the outdoors.

She leaves behind four daughters: Jill Jones(Curtis), Nancy Amos, Dawn Grams (Don), and Bonnie Whitney (Lenny). Her precious 7 grandchildren and her 5 adorable great grandchildren. She leaves her two sisters Pat Duke (Jim), Elva Wright (Gaylon), and Sharleen Leahy (Bill). Also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Presided in death by brother, Bill Leahy, and sisters, Johnie Clyde, and Annette Thom.
