Mary Burke

Mary Burke passed away at the age of 95 on January 23, 2025 in Heber City, Utah. Mary was born in County Cork, Ireland on January 15, 1930. On November 7, 1953, Mary married the love of her life Jack Burke whom she was with for many years until his passing.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Maureen Horn (William) and Nancy Phelan (Thomas); 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters Nellie Smith and Sheila Brosman; and brother Paddy Greaney.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jack and her son Johnny.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Probst Family Funerals, 79 E Main St., Midway, Utah 84032. On Friday, January 31, 2025 a morning viewing will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Probst Family Funerals with a funeral mass to follow at 1:00 PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1505 White Pine Canyon Drive, Park City, Utah 84060.

An inurnment will occur at a later date at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, New York.
