Mary Frances Landreth Ballstaedt, 84 years old of Heber City, Utah, passed away January 5, 2017. Mary was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 10, 1932 to Clarence Pierce Landreth and Mattie Lillian Hardesty. Mary was dedicated to the Lord everyday of her life. She had many talents: playing the piano by ear, sewing, and cooking. She brightened many lives playing her favorite LDS Hymns. Mary joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1952 and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. She met Daniel Ballstaedt, and the two were married in the Salt Lake Temple on February 1, 1962. Mary dedicated her life to service. She and Daniel served a mission together in Kaysville, Utah as LDS Employment Service Missionaries. Mary particularly loved serving in the temple and doing family history research. We are joyful knowing of Mary's sweet reunion with her husband, her son (William Clark), parents and seven siblings. She is survived by her five children Mary Duerden (Indianapolis, IN), Daniel (Becky, Hilliard, OH), Joseph (Kristi, Midway, UT), James (Kristen, Midway, UT), Jenny Johnson (Cory, Riverton, UT) with 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who love her dearly. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017, 11am. at the Midway Stake Center, 165 North Center Street, Midway, UT. with a visitation prior to the funeral from 9:00am to 10:30am.
