Martin Bud Mecham

Martin Bud Mecham, age 53, passed away on November 10th, 2016 in his home, surrounded by his family after a year long battle with kidney cancer. Marty was born November 19th, 1962 to Bud and Jackie Mecham. He married his life long love, Sherry, on December 17th, 1983. They were later sealed in the Provo temple. Marty loved cutting firewood, archery, fishing, camping and any time spent in the mountains with his family. He was a hard worker his entire life and thoroughly enjoyed going to his daily job.

Marty is survived by his wife Sherry and their children – Stoney (Kieshla), Keno (Tayler), Bandy (Chelsea), and by his brothers – Cody Mecham, Wayne Fausett and Rob Fausett. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Jackie Mecham, brother Dondi Mecham, and his mother and father in law – James and Elaine Kinsey.

A viewing will take place on Monday, November 14th, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Redgie Probst Barn (1980 W Main Canyon Rd, Wallsburg, Utah). Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 15th, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Wallsburg LDS Church Building (494 W. Main Canyon Road, Wallsburg) with a viewing held from 9:00 – 10:30 am prior to services. Interment will be at the Wallsburg Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
