Our sweet mother and grandmother Marjorie Catmull McKinnon passed away peacefully at her home on May 24, 2016 after a lengthy illness. Marjorie was born February 20, 1930 in Salt Lake City Utah to Melvin Dean and Vera Dunlop Catmull. She married the love of her life, Richard Leon McKinnon on June 6, 1946 in Mare Island, California while he was serving in the U.S. Navy during World War ll. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Marjorie 's life was devoted to her faith and family. She was an active member of the LDS church serving in numerous callings throughout her life. She loved and cherished her children and grandchildren and looked forward to their visits. She had a kind heart and was a friend to all who knew her.
Marjorie is survived by her children Randy (Tonya) McKinnon, Patricia (Dave) Densley, Steve (Toni) McKinnon, Karen (Scott) Wright; 23 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, her sister Joyce and brother Richard.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard, son Ricky, great grandson Esic Clark, parents, and her brother William. She will be greatly missed.
A viewing for Marjorie will be held on Saturday June 4, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at the Heber City 7th Ward LDS Chapel, 240 East 400 South, Heber City, followed by a celebration of her life at 12 p.m. Interment will be in the Heber City Cemetery.
