Marilyn Mackey, 82, of Marion, Utah passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home on May 18, 2026.

She was born on May 12, 1944, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harold Bland and Izona Connary, she grew up in the Sugar house area. She married William J Mackey on September 10, 1965 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Marilyn loved the outdoors and spent many happy years fishing, camping and hunting. As well as playing a game of pool. These activities brought her great joy and created lasting memories with family and friends.

She is survived by her children: sons, Eddie Mackey and William (Irene) Mackey; daughter, Wendy (Tracy) Evans; stepson, Robert (Heather) Jensen; brother, Richard (Susan) Bland; and also many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Mackey; her parents, Harold and Izona Bland; brother, Ronald Bland; sisters, Shirley Mathewson, Barbara VanHuizen, and Beverly Lemmon.

A graveside service to honor Marilyn will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Marion Cemetery at 832 E 2700 N, Kamas, UT 84036.
