Marcy Hone passed away peacefully in her home on August 6th, 2022, in Heber City, Utah.
Marcy was born on August 21st, 1950, in Del Norte, Colorado, to Steve and Anna Gurule. She then married the love of her life, Tom Hone, on October 16th, 1971.
Marcy loved camping, knitting, and sewing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
While in the service, Marcy and Tom traveled the world together. Marcy was happiest around a campfire in the mountains. Everyone that knew her loved her crazy sense of humor.
She is survived by her son, Tom Hone Jr., her grandchildren: Jordan (Nate), Grayson and Dylan (Ashley), great grandchildren Taylor and K.J., brothers and sisters: Steve (Sue), Dorothy, Randy (Cynthia), Diane, and Rose (Troy), sister-in-law Jo, numerous nieces and nephews, and her dog, Oso.
Marcy was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Hone Sr., parents, Steve and Anna Gurule, brother, Ned Gurule, brother-in-law, Brent Giles, daughter-in-law, Kelly, and granddaughter, Karley.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
