Mable Duke Kohler Cummings Lassen

Our dear sweet Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend passed away March 28, 2014 in her home, surrounded by her family after suffering a stroke.

She was born November 12, 1931 to Art and Eulean Duke in Bench Creek, Utah. Married to Dean Kohler (deceased), Hal Cummings (deceased) and Larry Lassen (deceased). Mable was a faithful member of the LDS church and served diligently in various capacities. Mable found joy and happiness in her family and serving others.

She is survived by her children Gary Kohler(Susan), Vance Kohler (Karen), JoLyn Hulse (Mike), Kevin Kohler (Sondra),Brett Cummings (Cindy) and step-children Dixie Tawzer (Lynn), Cathie Layman(Bruce), Cindy Dove (Lee), Kasey Cummings (Denise), Paul Lassen (Janice) and Keith Lassen(Bobbie), 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grand children.

She is preceded in death by parents; Son , Mark; husbands, two brothers and one sister.

A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, April 5th at 12:30 in the Deer Creek Ward bldg., 1102 S Center St., Midway, UT. A viewing will be held Friday evening April 4th from 6:00-8:00 and Saturday April 5th from 11:00-12:00 at the same location. Burial will be at the Midway cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in Mable’s name be made to Primary Children’s Hospital.
