Lisa K. Montgomery, born on August 6, 1963, in Heber City, Utah, to Gloria Montgomery and Tracy Flygare. She passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 61 at her home in Heber. Lisa grew up here, where she developed a lifelong love for animals and the outdoors. As a young girl she was an active member of 4-H and had a remarkable talent for horseback riding. Her skill and passion for it remained throughout her young adult years. She attended Wasatch High School, where she made cherished memories and friendships. Graduating in 1981.
In her younger years she loved traveling and exploring the beautiful world. Throughout her life she enjoyed a peaceful, simple life filled with love and laughter. Christmas was her favorite time of year where she played board games, did puzzles and other crafts with her loved ones.
She will be remembered for her compassion, her deep care for her family, her boundless creativity, and her loving spirit, all of which left a profound impact on those who knew her. Whether through her artistic pursuits, her inventive ideas or the way she brought beauty and inspiration to everyday life, to know Lisa was to love Lisa.
Lisa’s legacy lives on through her beloved daughters, Paige & Jade Larson, her caring mother, Gloria Montgomery and her devoted sister, Shelley Rounds (Mark). Her love for life and her family brought warmth and joy to everyone who knew her.
A Celebration of Life, to cherish her memory and celebrate her beautiful life, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Rivers Edge, 7000 Old Hwy 40.
