Leslie Higgs Hylton

October 21, 1960 — May 25, 2022

Leslie Higgs Hylton was born in Heber City, Utah to Alma Brown Higgs and Lois Sharon Cummings Higgs on October 21st, 1960. Leslie grew up in Heber and loved the valley and the small-town community. She would often tell us of how much fun she had growing up in 1960's Heber Valley. She met Ron Hylton in 1977 and they instantly fell in love. The were married August 26th, 1978. Together they raised two beautiful daughters, Lindsey and April. Leslie battled Marfan Syndrome most of her life. She died after fighting for a month following an emergency hear surgery.

Family was everything to Leslie, especially her three little granddaughters. She loved traveling and camping. She really enjoyed the holidays, she would go above and beyond making each one special. Leslie was selfless, she was always there to lend her advice and support. Leslie was the neighborhood mom, all the kids in the neighborhood rallied at Leslie's house and she welcomed and loved them all.

We are going to miss Mom's hugs, unconditional love, and amazing sense of humor. Leslie is preceded in death by both parents, sister Sharon, brother Steven, sister Georgia, sister Roberta, nephew Sean, niece Sky Lynne. She is survived by her husband Ron, daughters Lindsey, April (Jeremy) Hill, granddaughters, Adeline, Marian and Maise, sister Gayle Higgs (Jeff Lattin), sister Sherrilyn Chatwin, brother Lance (Randie) Higgs and her best friend Susan Titcomb.

Per Leslie's wishes there will be a viewing Wednesday, June 1st at 11:00 AM at Heber Valley Funeral Home, 288 N. Main Street, Heber City, Utah. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 PM at the Heber City Cemetery.
