Lee M North, father, grandfather, son, and brother returned to the arms of our Heavenly Father and to loved ones joyously awaiting his return on Saturday December 12, 2020 surrounded by his children. He was born September 3, 1956 in Heber City, Utah and was the 3rd of 5 children born to Max and Betty North.
As a child Lee loved spending time exploring the outdoors and spent a lot of time riding his bike around the Whiterocks and Midway Fish Hatcheries. Lee graduated from Wasatch High School in 1975 and served a mission in Anaheim, California two years later in 1977. Lee married Melanie Tucker North in 1979 and with this union they had 7 children, later divorcing. In 1980, Lee established North Side Cabinets and was a master at his trade. He had a plethora of knowledge not only about woodworking but also about metal work and was always eager to share. Lee loved meeting new people and those who met him would automatically be drawn to him. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew him.
Lee is proceeded in death by his parents Max and Betty, brother Craig, son Preston, and nephews Michael and Dan.
Lee is survived by his siblings; Jeanne Sorensen, Phil (Carla) North, Kirk North and children; Dustin, Destry, Tyler (Chauni), Megan (Adam) Phillips, Jordan (Kareesa Houskeeper), and Melia. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
