It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Kevin, a cherished husband, devoted father, grandfather, and a pillar of strength in our lives. He died peacefully in his home on May 25, 2023, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be etched in our hearts.
Born on March 27, 1968, Kevin brought light and joy into the lives of all who knew him. He was a man of remarkable character, known for his unwavering kindness, compassion, and selflessness. His genuine smile and quick wit could brighten the gloomiest of days, and his warm embrace provided solace to those in need. Throughout his life, Kevin touched countless hearts with his wisdom, humility, and a firm testimony of Jesus Christ. He loved BYU football, being outdoors, going to Yellowstone and Disneyland and spending time with loved ones.
As a brother, he was a pillar of support and an unwavering source of love. His siblings found solace in his presence, as he offered guidance, laughter, and a listening ear. Kevin was an exceptional son, always showing deep respect, gratitude, and devotion to his parents. He shared a special bond with them, filled with countless memories and a profound sense of love. Kevin had a unique talent of fostering strong connections, and his family could always count on him.
As a devoted husband, he shared an unbreakable bond with his beloved Trisha, an extraordinary partnership that served as a shining example of love and devotion. Together, they created a nurturing home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
As a father and grandfather, Kevin was a beacon of strength and guidance. He loved his posterity unconditionally, offering unwavering support, encouragement, and invaluable life lessons. He was a constant source of inspiration, instilling in them the values of honesty, integrity, and perseverance. His legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the profound impact he made on his children and grandchild.
Kevin had many leadership roles throughout his life. He’s been known for his spiritually and unwavering conviction of his Savior Jesus Christ. One area where Kevin truly flourished in his spiritual journey was through his dedicated service to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Including his 2 year mission in Peoria, Illinois, which he extended multiple times. For a number of years, he selflessly devoted his time, talents, and resources to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether it was leading ward council, teaching, or serving his neighbors, Kevin embodied the spirit of servitude. His unwavering commitment to his faith touched the lives of many. His humble presence, compassionate heart, and unwavering dedication to spreading the love of God will forever be remembered and cherished by all who had the privilege of worshiping alongside him.
Professionally, Kevin was admired and respected for his dedication and expertise. His hard work, commitment, and leadership earned him the admiration of colleagues and the gratitude of all those he served. His passion for his work was evident in every endeavor he undertook, leaving a lasting mark on his chosen field.
Kevin was a steadfast friend and extended family member, always there to lend a helping hand or provide words of wisdom. His genuine compassion and willingness to listen endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His absence will be deeply felt by the many lives he touched, but his memory will live on as a source of comfort and inspiration. Kevin possessed a kind and compassionate spirit that radiated in every interaction. He had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued and loved.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Trisha, his children Kayla, Jordan, Brayden, his son in law Andy, and his adoring grandchild Evan, and a wide circle of relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
The Lord has blessed us with many angels. As a family, we deeply appreciate the heavenly and earthly angels that took care of Kevin and helped us throughout his cancer journey. The EMT’s, nurses, doctors, Utah Valley Hospital Staff, Heber Valley Infusion Center Staff and countless others. We are forever grateful!
A viewing service and a memorial service will be held at Daniels 1st Ward building on 2285 S Daniels Rd, Daniel, UT 84032 on Thursday, June 1, 2023. The viewing from 9:30-11:30am. The memorial service is at 12:00pm. Kevin loved BYU blue, we would love for people to wear something blue to honor him.
