Kasie A Gurule

Our loving son, favorite little brother, uncle, and friend Kasie A Gurule passed away June 29, 2023, from an extremely rare cancer, peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

Growing up, he loved being outside riding his 4-wheeler, camping and hunting. Killing his first pheasant at eight years old, with a 12 gauge, and hasn’t stopped yet. He loved to outshoot everyone.

Kasie really enjoyed his adventures, such as bear hunting in Canada, hog hunting from Idaho to Texas, and countless hours pheasant hunting all over the state with his dogs; especially on his birthday.

He is known as that kind, smiling face when you walk into Point S. He had a heart of gold and would help whoever was in need. You never had to question where you stood with Kasie.

He loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews, whom he would tease.

We are going to miss his smiling face and sense of humor. Kasie was a private man with a big heart.

He is survived by parents, Randy and Cynthia Gurule, his sisters, Candie (Pat) Bonner, Jackie (Travis) Skovgaard, and Heidi Gurule, his nephews, Blake Skovgaard, Jake Bonner, and Brock Skovgaard, as well as his nieces, Emma Bonner and Brinlee Skovgaard.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Anna and Steve Gurule, Nancy and Grant Olsen, and Lynn Sheffield.

There will be a viewing and service held on Friday, July 7th, 2023, starting at 10:30am at Heber Valley Funeral Home located at 288 North Main Street, Heber City, Utah 84032. Interment will be at Midway City Cemetery.
