Karma A Mcdonald

June 29, 1941 — June 17, 2022

Karma Anderson McDonald

1941 - 2022 Heber City, Utah
Our sweet loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother & sister returned to her Heavenly Father and her loving husband on Friday June 17, 2022. Karma was born June 29, 1941 in Heber City to Kenneth & Mabel Lindsay Anderson. Mom married her one & only sweetheart Nile G. McDonald on November 8, 1957. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple for time & all eternity.
Family was the most important thing in her life. She always said that being a mother was her greatest calling. She was always there to tend, teach and help her family anyway she could. We all could depend on our Mother to always be there for all of us. Our Dad used to say "My kids don't bring home stray animals, they bring stray kids home." Our home was always a welcoming place for anyone that was in need. Many of us along with our family and friends found a place to stay and feel at home during their times of trouble. Our Mother was Christ Like in all she did and passed that onto her children. She had a testimony of Jesus Christ and would bear her testimony to all.
She loved to spend time with family. We went on a lot of Family Vacations from Camping and Fishing to going to Disneyland. Christmas was always a special time for the family. When the daughter in laws would come to the family Christmas party for first time, they would get overwhelmed with all the noise, presents & family that would be there. Her favorite family time was our Family Reunion up in Lake Creek camping every July. All Friends & family were invited to come spend time with us.
My Mom got her first paying job in 1991 at the age of 50, being over the Pink Ladies at Wasatch County Hospital & then at Heber Valley Hospital. She loved this job and it gave her great joy to help and serve others.
Karma is survived by Vea McDonald (daughter-in-law), Sandra (Twitch) Hardman, Nolan (Elaine), Glade (Diane), Kelly (Tina), Phil (Kim), Calvin, Andy, Rob (Marina), Karri (Dan) Broadhead, Ben (Amari). Siblings Joe (Dorcas) Anderson, Bill V. (Sarah) Anderson, Alyce Brown, Ava (Tom) Tice. Sister in laws, Jean Anderson, Linda (LaMar) Gray, Joy (Jeff) Hardman. 33 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and 1 more on the way.
Preceded in death, husband Nile G. McDonald, son Brent McDonald, parents Ken and Mabel Anderson, father and mother in law Lynn and Dawna McDonald, brother in law Don (Griz) Brown, foster daughter Diana Mae King, daughter in law Monica Wilkerson.
