Our beautiful angel mom, June Nielson Albiston joined her sweetheart, Ray Albiston on Thursday, June 17th, 2021. She lived one hundred and three beautiful years on this earth and was loved by all.
June was a woman of strong unwavering faith, never ending service, and unselfishly served her family, her friends, neighbors, her community, and her God. She was humble, kind, and full of grace, and yes there was plenty of sparkle and spunk! She perfected her homemaking skills so that her home was a haven of rest for all who entered. Her arms were always open for a warm embrace.
She had many talents and abilities, she loved spending time in her garden, quilting many beautiful quilts, most of which she gave away. She was always knitting and crocheting something beautiful, but most important, she was known for Junie’s or Nana’s cinnamon rolls, her delicious bread, and she gave to all. We will miss her, but her faith and our faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ gives us comfort and hope for a joyful reunion again with her.
She is survived by her five daughters, LaRae and Jack Shaffer of Ogden, Utah; Sandy and Don Cottam of Ogden, Utah; Colleen and Dean Forest of St. George, Utah; Becky and David Reiss of Heber City, Utah; Vicki Albiston of Anchor Bay, California; 32 grandchildren and 88 great grandchildren, and 21 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ray Albiston; grandson Loren Ray Shaffer; granddaughter Rebecca June Cottam; great granddaughter Ariann Maree Jacobs; her mother and father and 5 siblings.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 25th at 12 noon at the Heber 5th ward Chapel (150 W 200 N). Viewing will be held from 10:00am to 11:30am prior to the service.
