Judy Fae Gardner

June 19, 1942 — July 21, 2023

Judy Fae Gardner, a devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, peacefully passed away in Orem, Utah, surrounded by her family on July 21, 2023. Born on June 19, 1942, in Altonah, Utah, she was the beloved daughter of George Albert and Mable Clark. On November 24, 1962, she married Benny Gardner and was later sealed for time and all eternity to her husband and children on January 7, 1984.

Judy and Benny served a genealogy mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints together in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their dedication to helping others find past loved ones and spreading the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ left a lasting impact on the lives of those they served.

Throughout her life, Judy found joy in simple pleasures. She loved the tranquility of fishing, the excitement of rock hounding, the camaraderie of bowling, and the thrill of uncovering family history through genealogy. Her adventurous spirit and passion for life were infectious, and she enriched the lives of her family and friends by sharing these experiences with them.
For over two decades, Judy worked as a seasoned waitress, bringing warmth and hospitality to every table she served. Her wit and spirited nature left an unforgettable impression on all those who crossed her path.

Judy's legacy lives on through her children, Phil (Jamie) Gardner, Eric Gardner, Daniel (Judy) Gardner, Pam (Woody) Gardner, Bruce (Candice) Gardner, and Paula Gardner, who carry her love in their hearts. Her 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren will forever remember the love and joy she brought into their lives.

She leaves behind her siblings, Reva Giles and Joene Olsen, with whom she shared many cherished memories. Judy is reunited in heaven with her husband Benny Gardner, her parents George Albert and Mable Clark, and her other beloved siblings who preceded her in death.
