In Loving Memory of Jeannie Kuerbis (Park), March 23, 1940 – May 3, 2019, Heber City Utah – Jeannie joined our Heavenly Father on May 3, 2019. She was at her home surrounded by her two daughters Kimberly and Kollette, son in law Patrick, niece Pamela Park and her grandchildren, Kent, Kellan and Karly Chambers.
Jeannie was born in Amarillo, TX. Then moved to San Diego, CA where she attended Grossmont High School. After high school she married her high school sweetheart and had three children, Kollette Chambers of Heber City, Utah, Kimberly Kuerbis of Prescott Valley, Arizona and Kent Kuerbis who predeceased his mother in 1980.
Jeannie was crowned Queen of the Mother Goose Parade in El Cajon California 1956, volunteered at The San Diego Children’s Hospital and worked in the health care industry in California and Utah. Jeannie enjoyed entertaining, the mountains, beach, painting, Lake Powell, horseback riding, traveling with her family and supporting her community. Jeannie enjoyed riding horses and was a founding member of the Saddle Sore-ority club of San Diego founded 1974. She was also a member of The Thursday Club in San Diego, and the Red Hat Society in Utah. Jeannie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, which she adored. She had a heart of full of love and radiated it to everyone. She enjoyed and embraced life.
Survived by her daughters Kimberly, Kollette (Patrick) Chambers, and grandchildren Kent, Kellan and Karly Chambers. Keep Smiling Mom (Nana), we love you.
Service Saturday May 11, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1661 E 980th S., Heber City, Utah) Across the street from Old Mill Elementary.
